In 2023/24, our firm completed four Life Cycle Asset Management Plans (LCAMPs) for an electric power utility in western Canada. Each LCAMP is a strategic document used for managing an asset throughout its life cycle and included the asset’s inventory and assessment, objectives aligned with organizational goals, lifecycle phases from acquisition to disposal, risk management strategies, performance metrics, technology implementation, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement.

The outcome from each LCAMP allowed the electric power company to have a documented strategy for managing its critical infrastructure that aimed to optimize asset performance, minimize risks, and maximize return on investment.
