Condition Assessments

Municipal Infrastructure Facility Assessment and Capital Renewal Report
ASI completed a Building Condition Assessment (BCA) of a Town’s administration and recreational facilities for a Southern Saskatchewan municipality’s Chief Administrative Office (CAO). We evaluated each facility’s structural integrity, mechanical systems, and overall condition to identify deficiencies, recommend necessary repairs, and develop a short-term and long-term maintenance plan for each facility to ensure continued safe and efficient operation. The primary components documented in this report include a professional opinion on the age, condition, remaining life, replacement/repair cost, and the year the cost may be incurred.
Our team submitted a detailed BCA Report to guide future facility renewal and potential replacement and submitted a Class C cost estimate with phasing and procurement strategy for renovations and replacement within a 3-year timeframe. The report included detailed maps and figures submitted to visualize the locations for points of interest immediate attention and violated Building Codes. Additionally, a long-term (10-year) capital renewal plan was prepared after the condition assessment of each facility to provide a roadmap for repairing and replacing components.
